Units of Time

KEY IDEAS:
A day is divided in to two parts : the time before noon and  the time after noon.
In 12 hour time the time starts at 12.00 midnight and goes to 12 noon then to 12 midnight, in 24 hour time the day stars at 00.00 midnight and goes to 12 noon  then to 24.00 midnight eg 1pm 12 hr = 13.00 in 24hr.
